I always eat a small carb + protein meal about 60 mins before. Oats and egg whites usually. After training, I do grill chicken and jasmine rice.

Nothing crazy. Pre: banana + peanut butter. Post: steak, rice, broccoli. Easy to prep and hit all the macros.

Pre: Greek yogurt, fruit, a little honey. Post: Protein shake + sweet potato. Works like a charm for recovery!

I like cream of rice with honey and whey before hitting the gym. Post-workout is beef and white rice. Keeps gains steady.

If I train fasted, I just take EAAs. Otherwise, pre-workout is egg whites + toast. After lifting, I crush a shake with some rice cakes and almond butter.

Pre-workout I go with oats, banana and a scoop of whey. It gives me clean energy. Post-workout? Rice and chicken, every time.

Hey everyone! πŸ‘‹

Just wanted to get your thoughts on the best meals before and after training. I’m trying to fuel my workouts better and recover faster.
What do you all usually eat pre-workout for energy and post-workout for recovery? Looking for real, simple food ideas, nothing too fancy.
I appreciate any tips! πŸ’ͺ🍳🍚🍌
