Lots of solid advice here sounds like I need to keep the surplus smaller and track more closely. Gonna add some cardio too.

Take progress pics weekly. The mirror tells you when to slow the bulk down.

Liquid calories are dangerous. Stick to whole food so you don’t overeat without realizing.

Focus on strength progression. If your lifts aren’t going up, extra calories aren’t helping much.

I do 4 weeks of surplus, 1 week at maintenance. Helps manage fat gain.

Cardio during a bulk is underrated. Keeps you lean and helps appetite control.

Add more training volume instead of just eating more. You’ll burn extra calories and put more food to use.

Clean foods help, but too much clean food still adds fat. Portion control is key.

Track your macros. I bulked without a food scale for years and always ended up fluffy. Now I weigh everything.
