I appreciate all the input. Sounds like total intake is king, but I’ll try spacing meals better around workouts just to see if it helps performance. Thanks for sharing, everyone!

Sleep and hydration make more of a difference than meal timing, in my experience. Food placement helps, but recovery starts there.

When I was younger, I thought I had to eat every 2 hours, or I’d lose muscle. Truth is, if you get your protein and calories in, you’re fine.

Meal timing matters less than consistency. If you’re eating good food and hitting your targets daily, timing just fine-tunes things.

I’ve noticed if I train without carbs before, my strength dips. It doesn’t have to be big, but oats or bananas help me a lot.

I think it’s personally. Some people smash PRs fast; others need a full meal before. Best thing is trial and error.

If you’re training twice a day, timing becomes a big deal. You gotta refuel between sessions or the second workout is garbage.

Meal timing matters way more when you’re cutting. Smaller meals keep energy up and cravings under control when calories are low.

I just keep it simple: breakfast, lunch, dinner and a shake after lifting. Never overthink it.
