Honestly it’s more about digestion than the exact food. Anything high carb, moderate protein, low fat that you personally digest well will outperform a “perfect” meal that sits like a brick.

The gummy bears + electrolytes combo keeps popping up everywhere. Might try that on my arm days just to see how the pump feels.

Low-fat pasta + chicken is underrated. Carbs hit quick and you stay full without feeling sluggish.

If I’m going for a crazy pump: gummy bears + electrolytes. It’s basically liquid carbs + sugar rush.

Two slices of toast with peanut butter. Not the craziest pump food but gives me solid strength for compounds.

Yeah I think my problem is eating too close to the workout. I usually slam something 20–30 minutes before and then feel heavy. Might try that 60–90 min window.

Greek yogurt + granola + blueberries. Easy on the stomach and gives me great sustained energy for long sessions.

Honestly, a simple chicken + white rice bowl 60–90 mins before lifting. Zero bloating, pure fuel. It’s boring but it works.

I’ve actually never tried rice cakes with honey. Might be a good option on days I don’t want a full meal. Gonna test that.

Oats with whey and a banana. Slow carbs + a bit of protein = steady energy. Never fails me.
