When I first started lifting, I thought getting stronger was all about hitting the gym hard and pushing for PRs. I barely paid attention to what I ate, skipped meals when I got busy, and sometimes cut carbs because I wanted to stay lean.

Eventually, my energy dipped, recovery got harder, and my progress stalled.
Now I realize that training hard is only half the battle. Getting enough protein, eating enough to fuel your workouts, and staying consistent with your meals matter just as much. I'm curious — what's the biggest nutrition mistake you made when you first started lifting, and what did you learn from it?
