I've been getting more serious about strength training lately, and one thing I keep hearing is that women are worried that lifting heavy weights will automatically make them look "too bulky." I used to think the same thing, but the more I learn about resistance training, the more I realize how important it can be for building strength and improving overall body composition.
For the women here who have been lifting consistently, what helped you get comfortable with strength training, and what changes did you notice after sticking with it?
