For me, the key was realizing I don’t need some crazy “fitness meal” for every meal. I’ll eat eggs and toast for breakfast, a chicken or turkey bowl for lunch, salmon or lean beef for dinner, and Greek yogurt or a shake if I need something extra. I still get the protein I’m aiming for, but I can actually enjoy my food and stick with it. 🥩🍳💪

Meal prep on Sunday is huge for me. I’ll cook two proteins, one carb, and a bunch of vegetables, then mix everything differently throughout the week. It takes a little time upfront, but it keeps me from ordering takeout when I get home from the gym starving. 💯

I like that approach. I used to stress over hitting an exact number every single day, but now I’m more focused on being consistent across the whole week. Makes eating way less stressful. 👍

I don’t really count every gram anymore. I just make sure every meal has a decent protein source and then adjust portions based on whether I’m cutting, maintaining, or trying to gain. That approach has been much easier for me to stick with long term.

My biggest hack is changing sauces and seasonings. 🌶️ One week I’ll do buffalo chicken bowls, then teriyaki, then fajita-style. I can eat the same basic ingredients without feeling like I’m stuck on a bodybuilding meal plan.

I usually rotate between chicken breast, lean beef, turkey, salmon, eggs, Greek yogurt, and beans. That keeps my grocery list pretty simple while still giving me enough variety.

Cottage cheese has surprisingly become one of my favorites. I add fruit when I want something sweet or seasoning and hot sauce when I want something savory. Sounds weird until you try it 😂.

Same here! I’m trying to get most of my protein from actual meals, but having whey around definitely saves me when my schedule gets crazy.

Honestly, protein shakes help me a lot on workdays. I don't want every meal to revolve around hitting macros, so having a shake after work keeps things simple before I head to the gym. 🥤

Ground turkey is probably my favorite meal-prep protein right now. I’ll season it differently throughout the week so Monday tastes like taco bowls, Wednesday is more like a rice bowl, and Friday might be a turkey wrap. Same basic food, totally different vibe. 🌯
