Honestly, consistency is the biggest thing. You don't need a perfect meal plan or some crazy protein goal. Find foods you actually enjoy, get a reasonable amount of protein regularly, train hard, recover, and give your body time to adapt. Results take patience, but the boring basics really do work. 🔥🏋️‍♀️

I've been lifting for a couple years now, and I don't obsess over protein anymore. I have a rough target, build most meals around a quality protein source, and move on with my day. That approach has been much more sustainable for me.

Breakfast was my weak spot. Adding eggs or Greek yogurt in the morning made hitting my daily target much less stressful.

100% agree. Protein matters, but it isn't a magic switch. Progressive strength training, enough overall food, good sleep, and recovery all need to work together. 💯

One thing I wish more beginners understood is that protein isn't the only part of building muscle. I was obsessed with getting enough protein but wasn't eating enough overall, and my training suffered. Once I started fueling my workouts properly, I felt stronger and recovered better.

I don't use protein powder every day. Sometimes it's just convenient after work when I don't have time to cook. 🥤

I noticed a difference when I stopped trying to cram all my protein into dinner. Having 25–35g at several meals is much easier for me, and I'm not sitting there at 9 PM trying to figure out how I'm going to eat another giant serving of chicken.

Chicken, eggs, cottage cheese, and tuna are basically my meal-prep squad right now. 😂

I'm around 0.8g per pound most days, but I don't stress if I miss it once in a while. Consistency over weeks matters more to me than hitting the exact number every day.

Same! I thought I was eating “high protein” until I actually tracked a normal day. There was a pretty big difference between eating protein occasionally and intentionally getting enough throughout the day. 🙌
