I’m paying way more attention to recovery now. If I can train hard, sleep well, come back a couple days later, and still perform, that tells me my program is actually sustainable. 🔥

Consistency > intensity.

I’ve stopped changing exercises every week just because I saw something new on Instagram. Sticking with a few basics and getting better at them has made my training much more productive.

For me it’s simple: better lifts, better conditioning, fewer aches, and enough energy left to enjoy the rest of my day. That’s what a good program should give you. 💪🇺🇸

My training goal changed when I realized I wanted to be strong long-term, not just have one crazy month of PRs. Consistency feels boring sometimes, but it works.

I’ve also started leaving a rep or two in reserve on most sets. I still train hard, but I’m not turning every set into a survival challenge anymore. My recovery has been way better.

That’s a great point. Sometimes improvement isn’t adding 20 pounds to the bar—it’s doing the same work with better technique and less fatigue.

I’m running an upper/lower split right now and keeping cardio on separate days. Nothing fancy, but it’s probably the most sustainable routine I’ve had.

I want my gym strength to carry over outside the gym too. Being able to move furniture, carry heavy groceries, hike, or play sports without feeling completely wrecked is a huge win for me.
