I’m running an upper/lower split right now, and it’s been a nice middle ground. I get enough frequency to practice the big lifts while still having dedicated time to push accessories and bring up weaker muscle groups. 🔥

I think people overcomplicate this stuff sometimes. If your weekly volume, effort, exercise selection, nutrition, and recovery are on point, either setup can work really well.

Full-body makes way more sense for my schedule since I can lift Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and still get plenty of recovery between sessions. I’ve been adding reps and weight steadily without feeling like I need to spend two hours in the gym every day. 💯

I like splits because I can really focus on a muscle instead of rushing through five different body parts in one session.

Upper/lower is my sweet spot right now.

I’ve tried both, and I think the best routine is the one that fits your schedule and lets you progressively overload without constantly feeling beat up. Recovery matters just as much as the split itself. 🔥

I switched to full-body three days a week and honestly, my consistency has improved a lot because I’m not stressing about missing one specific muscle day.
