I thought twice a week was enough—big mistake. When you’re standing next to seasoned competitors, you immediately realize who put in the posing work and who didn’t.

Yup. I used to think, "Eh, I’ll just flex naturally on stage." NOPE. Posing is a skill, and if you’re not sweating after a session, you’re not practicing hard enough.

Every. Single. Day. No excuses. At least 20-30 minutes. You can have the best physique in the world, but if you don’t know how to show it off, it won’t matter.

Damn, I didn’t even think about post-show struggles. That sounds rough. But okay, real talk—how much time should I actually be spending on posing?

Yeah, that’s why having a reverse diet plan is crucial. A lot of people think the competition ends on stage, but if you don’t have a post-show plan, you’ll mess up months of hard work.

Ugh, I felt that. I went straight into "eat everything in sight" mode after my first show and regretted it immediately. My energy crashed, my weight shot up, and I felt terrible.

The stage experience is one thing, but no one prepared me for the post-show blues. You go from months of strict routine to suddenly… nothing. Felt so weird.

And the stage lights make it even worse! My first comp, I legit couldn’t see the judges because the lights were so bright. I was just hoping I was facing the right way.

Jake, same here! People don’t realize how hard posing actually is. You’re holding a flex, smiling, and trying not to pass out from dehydration all at the same time. 😂

Peak week is wild, but posing was my real enemy. First time on stage, my legs were SHAKING like crazy. I thought I was gonna fall over.
