If I had to rank: Creatine, protein powder (if diet needs it), fish oil, vitamin D. Everything else is pretty much hype. Save your money and put it toward quality food.

Depends on your bloodwork. I take it year-round because I’m indoors most of the time. But yeah, don’t just pop random doses get tested if you can.

I keep hearing vitamin D mentioned lately. Do you think it’s worth taking year-round, or just in winter?

Multivitamin and vitamin D are my go-to. Not directly for gains, but they keep me healthy enough to train consistently, which matters more.

Agree with the above. If your diet is on point, BCAAs are useless. EAAs maybe have some benefit if you train fasted, but still not essential.

Most “muscle building” supplements are garbage. I wasted a ton on BCAAs in the past. Once I learned they don’t do much if you’re already eating enough protein, I dropped them.

Omega-3s are underrated IMO. Helped me with joint pain and overall recovery. Not flashy but solid.

Creatine doesn’t bloat you unless you’re loading too aggressively. Stick to 3–5g daily and you’re good. I have been on it for 6 years.

Yeah, I’ve been eyeing creatine again. Did you notice bloating or water retention, or was it pretty smooth for you?

Pre-workouts are mostly caffeine with some pixie-dusted ingredients. I’ve switched to just coffee + electrolytes, saves me money.
