I’ve stopped changing exercises every week just because I saw something new on Instagram. Sticking with a few basics and getting better at them has made my training much more productive.

I aim for roughly 0.7–1g per pound of body weight. It gives me a target without making me obsess over hitting an exact number every single day.

My trick is changing the flavor instead of changing every ingredient. One batch of chicken can become buffalo chicken, fajita bowls, BBQ wraps, or a salad. Same prep, completely different meal. 🌶️🔥

Protein powder isn't some magic muscle builder, but it makes staying consistent with my nutrition so much easier.

For me, the best approach has been simple: train consistently, lift with good form, eat enough, recover properly, and give the process time. The results aren't overnight, but they're much easier to maintain when the routine actually fits your life.

Don't forget to plan for posing. I made the mistake of treating it like an afterthought, and then realized pretty late that looking good in the gym doesn't automatically mean you know how to present your physique onstage.
