Re: What’s Your Experience with Intermittent Fasting and Bodybuilding?
Couldn’t agree more, @MasonTaylor. IF is just one tool in the toolbox. If it works for your schedule and goals, use it. If not, don’t sweat it. Great discussion, everyone!

Re: What’s Your Experience with Intermittent Fasting and Bodybuilding?
I feel that, @MasonTaylor. I’ve noticed my strength is slightly lower when I train fasted, but the fat loss benefits during a cut make up for it. IF isn’t perfect for building strength, but it’s great for leaning out.

Re: What’s Your Experience with Intermittent Fasting and Bodybuilding?
I’ve been doing intermittent fasting (16:8) for a year now, and it’s worked pretty well for cutting. I feel less bloated, and it’s made managing my calorie intake so much easier. The only downside is cramming all my meals into the feeding window. Anyone else struggle with that?

That’s genius, @FlexQueen. I’ll have to try those egg muffins. Another favorite of mine is avocado stuffed with canned tuna. It’s a great mix of healthy fats and protein, and it’s filling without being heavy.

@FlexQueen, I like Bear Naked granola—it’s lower in sugar and has some solid options with added protein. My favorite snack, though, is a handful of almonds and beef jerky. Super portable and great for when I’m on the go.

Re: How Do You Stay on Track While Eating Out?
If I’m at a burger place, I’ll go for a lettuce-wrapped burger or just eat the patty with a fork. It keeps the protein high and the carbs low. And if I have a treat meal, I don’t stress—I just get back on track the next day.

Re: What’s the Weirdest Nutrition Advice You’ve Ever Heard?
This thread is gold. Here’s one for you:
“Drink a gallon of milk a day to bulk up.” GOMAD (Gallon Of Milk A Day) was all the rage for a while, and I actually tried it. The result? Sure, I gained weight... but most of it wasn’t muscle. Plus, my stomach hated me for months.

Re: What’s the Most Effective Workout Split You’ve Tried?
That’s a smart way to structure it, @SteelSpartan. I think a lot of people underestimate how important recovery is. Any advice for beginners trying to figure out the best split for them?

Re: What’s the Most Effective Workout Split You’ve Tried?
I’ve tried PPL, but upper/lower splits work better for me. I train four days a week, and it’s less time-consuming. Plus, it gives me more flexibility to add some conditioning work on off days.

100%. Progress isn’t linear—it’s all about the long-term effort. As long as you get back to it, you’re still winning.
