Squat Form: Depth vs. Safety
How low do you go? Debate squat depth—ass-to-grass or just breaking parallel.

I hit below parallel but not full ATG. Keeps my knees happier and still activates glutes.
Re: Squat Form: Depth vs. Safety
I go ATG with lighter weights. For me it’s the best glute builder. Safety = don’t load heavy until you own the depth.

I used to half-squat, then wondered why my legs didn’t grow. Now I go deeper, at least parallel. Massive difference.

Re: Squat Form: Depth vs. Safety
I have longer legs so ATG feels unnatural. Parallel works best for me — I add hip thrusts for extra glute work.

ATG for me. I keep weights moderate and focus on form. Knees track toes, back neutral, no ego.

I squat deep but only in weightlifting shoes. Without them my heels rise too much.

Parallel minimum, deeper if you can. But don’t force ATG if it wrecks your spine. Form > ego.

Re: Squat Form: Depth vs. Safety
I like ATG because it builds mobility as well as strength. But I stop if my lower back rounds.
