Exactly. Safety first. Better a clean parallel squat than a sketchy ATG squat.

True, but for glute growth, ATG is unmatched. Even bodyweight ATG burns.

How do you deal with knee pain when going deep? Sometimes mine flare up.

Jake, check your stance width. Too narrow = more knee stress. Also strengthen hamstrings to balance.

And don’t let your knees cave in. Use bands for practice if needed.

ATG isn’t always the problem — it’s bad control. People dive-bomb into the hole and bounce off their knees.

Yes! Controlled descent, tight core, steady drive up. That’s how you squat safe.

I film my squats to check depth. Sometimes feels deep but video shows otherwise.

Same here, Olivia. Video is the best form check tool.
And don’t forget mobility drills. Hip openers, ankle stretches = easier depth.

100%. My ATG improved once I started daily ankle mobility.
