Small Form Mistakes That Can Lead to Big Injuries
Re: Small Form Mistakes That Can Lead to Big Injuries
I've learned that ego lifting can set you back much further than taking a lighter day. I'd rather finish a workout feeling like I could have done a little more than force a heavy set with questionable form and risk missing training afterward.

I started recording a few of my heavier sets, and it helped me notice small technique problems I didn't feel while lifting.

One thing that helped me was stopping a set when my technique started falling apart instead of trying to squeeze out another couple of reps. It made my training feel much more controlled.

I used to think soreness meant I had a productive workout, but I've changed my mindset. Now I pay more attention to performance, recovery, and whether I can train consistently without constantly feeling beat up.
