As soon as I load up leg extensions, my knees complain. Lighter sets for the pump are all I can handle.

Straight bar chin-ups hurt my elbows bad. Neutral grip fixed it.

For me, ego lifting did more damage than the lifts themselves. Moderate weight + good form keeps me pain-free.

Yeah that hits home I’m guilty of chasing numbers instead of listening to my joints. I need to think of a long game.

Honestly, behind-the-neck pulldowns were nothing but trouble for me. My shoulders felt tweaked every time, so I completely cut them out of my routine.

Upright rows lit up my shoulders in the worst way. They dropped them years ago, never missed them.

I’m 40+ and still train heavy, but I swapped barbell squats for belt squats and my knees thanked me.

Honestly, it’s about listening to your body. When a lift starts giving you that bad pain, swap it out before it’s too late.
