There are so many supplements being pushed at lifters right now that it can be hard to tell what's genuinely useful and what's just good marketing.

For those who actually train consistently, what supplement has made the biggest noticeable difference for you? Creatine, protein, pre-workout, electrolytes, magnesium, or something else?
Not asking for the biggest supplement stack—just curious what you personally feel is worth keeping in your routine.

Whey protein has been huge for me because I struggle to hit my protein target with food alone, especially on busy workdays.

For me, electrolytes have actually been underrated. I sweat like crazy during summer workouts, and having them in my water makes those longer sessions much more manageable.

Protein powder isn't some magic muscle builder, but it makes staying consistent with my nutrition so much easier.

Pre-workout works great for me when I'm dragging after work, although I have to watch the caffeine or I'll be staring at the ceiling at midnight.

This is exactly what I was wondering about. I see people online with 10+ supplement stacks, but at my gym most serious lifters seem to keep it pretty simple—usually protein and creatine.

Creatine has been the one supplement I haven't felt the need to replace with some newer “advanced” formula. I just keep buying the basic stuff and taking it consistently.

Honestly, coffee is enough for me before lifting.

I save the money I'd spend on pre-workout and put it toward groceries.
