For me, whey protein made the biggest difference. It’s easy to consume after workouts and helps hit protein goals. A solid multivitamin was also a game-changer—covers all the bases when my diet wasn’t perfect.

Same here! Whey protein is a must. But I also loved creatine monohydrate. It’s affordable, well-researched, and I noticed better recovery and strength gains after just a few weeks.

Creatine all the way! I use the plain monohydrate version—it’s cheap and effective. I’d recommend pairing it with a good fish oil supplement for joint support, especially if you’re lifting heavy.

For me, it was BCAAs during my early workouts. I found they helped with soreness when I wasn’t eating enough. But now that my diet is on point, I don’t use them anymore. They’re good for beginners still figuring things out!

Not a supplement, but hydration made a HUGE difference for me when I added electrolyte tablets to my routine. Combine that with whey protein, and you’re set for recovery!

I started with the basics:
  • Whey protein – to hit protein targets
  • Multivitamin – to cover dietary gaps
  • Creatine – for strength and endurance
These gave me noticeable results in strength and muscle size. Don’t overcomplicate it!

Do you think pre-workouts are necessary? I’ve never used one, but I see a lot of people recommending them.

Not at all. A good cup of coffee works just as well! Most pre-workouts are just caffeine with added stuff you may not need. Save your money for the essentials.
