Shoulder pain can be a serious setback, especially when you're lifting heavily or training often. I’ve had minor issues before and want to avoid anything more serious. Here are a few things I’ve been focusing on:
• Proper warm-ups (band work, light rotator cuff exercises)
• Controlling form on pressing movements
• Not overdoing overhead lifts
• Adding mobility work and stretches
Anyone else here has shoulder issues? What’s worked best for you in preventing or recovering from them?

Good tips. I had a small rotator cuff strain last year face pulls, and internal/external rotations helped a lot. Now I never skip warm-ups.

I cut out behind-the-neck presses completely. Switched to dumbbells and my shoulders felt way better. Mobility work is huge too.

I’ve been using resistance bands daily for prehab and it’s made a big difference. Keeps everything activated before heavy pressing.

Injured mine from going too heavy on incline barbell presses. Learned the hard way form > ego. Now I stick to moderate weight and strict control.

I get regular soft tissue work done and include thoracic mobility drills. It’s helped keep my shoulders healthy during push/pull days.
