Is It Normal to Feel Stronger on Random Days?

Walked in tired, expected a trash workout… ended up hitting a PR. Other days I feel great and lift like a toddler. What’s the science behind this randomness?

Totally normal bro. Strength fluctuates. Sleep, stress, carbs all of it matters more than how you feel walking in.

Sometimes when you expect a bad workout, you don’t overthink it. Less pressure = better performance.

CNS readiness is real. You can feel tired mentally but still be primed physically.

Yeah that’s exactly what happened. I didn’t hype it up, just lifted. Meanwhile the days I’m amped I overdo it and it backfires.

Carbs the day before make a big difference. Full glycogen = stronger lifts.

Stress and bad sleep will sneak up on you. That’s when weights feel randomly heavy.

Your body isn’t a machine. Some days you’re 100%, some days you’re 90%. That’s normal.
