The Gym Mirrors Are Getting Disrespectful

Swear I looked lean last week. Today I look like I ate myself. Do gyms install bad day mirrors or am I going insane?

It’s lighting. Overhead gym lighting is ruthless. Same body, different shadows.

Carbs + sodium + water retention. One salty meal and boom… “bulk mode” activated.

Some mirrors are slightly curved too. I swear the squat rack mirror makes me look 10 lbs heavier.

Morning vs. evening makes a big difference. I look tighter in the morning every time.

Stress and sleep mess with how you look. Bad night of sleep and I feel soft instantly.

Okay glad it’s not just me 😅 I’m blaming lighting and sodium from now on. Guess I’ll stop trusting the mirror and trust the progress instead.
