Plain citrulline works better than most fancy pre-workouts for me. No crash, just solid pumps.

What gets me is the marketing. “Alien focus,” “rage mode,” “neuro death matrix.” Meanwhile it’s just caffeine and underdosed pump stuff.

I drink close to 1.5 gallons a day but add electrolytes to one bottle. Keeps me from feeling flat. Pumps and energy are way better once minerals are balanced.

I schedule 1 full day off weekly and a light day midweek. Keeps me consistent without burning out.

Pre-workouts are mostly caffeine with some pixie-dusted ingredients. I’ve switched to just coffee + electrolytes, saves me money.
