PowerForge21 wrote: Wed Dec 25, 2024 9:44 pm Do you think pre-workouts are necessary? I’ve never used one, but I see a lot of people recommending them.
Not at all. A good cup of coffee works just as well! Most pre-workouts are just caffeine with added stuff you may not need. Save your money for the essentials.

Re: Avoiding Shoulder Pain During Bench Press

Chains and bands are fun, but they’re tough to set up. My gym doesn’t even have them.

Re: Avoiding Shoulder Pain During Bench Press

Flat benching gives me trouble, but incline feels fine. Is it just me, or is this common?

Re: Preventing Back Injuries During Deadlifts

I think lifting belts are fine for max lifts, but they shouldn’t replace good form.

Re: Preventing Back Injuries During Deadlifts

Does anyone use lifting belts consistently? I feel like they help, but I don’t want to rely on them too much.

Re: 🔥🚴Fat Burners: Fact or Fiction?

AlphaBulk, honestly? Stick to whole foods and coffee for an energy boost. A well-structured diet does 99% of the work. Fat burners can’t outdo a bad diet anyway. 💯

Re: 🥗Cutting Diet Challenges: Share Your Experience🔥

Guys, how do you deal with family dinners while cutting? 🍽️ Everyone around me is eating pasta and fried food, and I’m over here with my chicken and broccoli. 😓 It’s awkward, tbh.

Re: Welcome to the Beginner's Q&A!

@AlphaBulk, try this:
  • Dumbbell Bench Press: 3x10
  • Dumbbell Rows: 3x10
  • Dumbbell Shoulder Press: 3x10
  • Bicep Curls & Tricep Extensions: 3x12
It’s simple and hits all the major upper body muscles. Just focus on form first, not heavy weights.

Re: Why Did You Start Your Fitness Journey?

Lars here! 👋 I work in a stressful finance job, and lifting became my escape. The gym is the one place I can disconnect, de-stress, and focus on myself. It’s my therapy. 🏋️‍♂️
