Definitely ahead of schedule. Contest prep is already demanding enough without turning the final week into survival mode.

I’d say greens powders are probably one of the most over-marketed categories. They can be convenient, but I wouldn't treat a scoop as a replacement for actually eating vegetables.

I think social media creates a weird expectation that women have to either be extremely thin or extremely muscular. There are so many different body types in between, and honestly, building a little muscle has helped me feel much better about my own physique.

I’d also consider your goal. Someone trying to gain weight, someone maintaining, and someone aggressively cutting may approach nutrition differently. Protein is important, but it’s only one piece of the whole picture.

I also think people underestimate how important rest days are. You can’t just hammer the same joints and muscles nonstop and expect them to feel amazing forever. Sometimes the smartest move is taking a day off.

Breakfast was my weak spot. Adding eggs or Greek yogurt in the morning made hitting my daily target much less stressful.

Honestly, protein shakes help me a lot on workdays. I don't want every meal to revolve around hitting macros, so having a shake after work keeps things simple before I head to the gym.

For me, whey protein has been the most useful. It's an easy way to meet my daily protein goal when I'm busy.
