Re: What’s Your Experience with Intermittent Fasting and Bodybuilding?
Same here, @SophiaMiller. I think consistency and balance are way more important than trying to stick to any one approach. IF works for some people, but it’s not the only way to stay lean or build muscle.

Re: What’s Your Experience with Intermittent Fasting and Bodybuilding?
It probably breaks the fast, @SophiaMiller, but I think it’s a personal call. If you’re worried about muscle loss, it’s worth it. I couldn’t stick with fasted training—I felt like my strength dropped too much. I’m back to eating before workouts, and my lifts are stronger.

Avocado and tuna is a power combo, @JakeAnderson! I’ve also been into protein bars lately. My favorite brand is RXBAR—they’re clean and don’t taste like candy. What are your go-to bars?

Beef jerky is solid, @JakeAnderson. I also make my own trail mix with almonds, walnuts, dried cranberries, and a few dark chocolate chips. It’s clean, but it satisfies my sweet tooth. Plus, the healthy fats keep me full for longer.

Appetizers can be tricky, but I’ve found it’s easy to suggest healthier ones, like shrimp cocktail or veggie platters. And if I want fries, I’ll split them with someone to avoid overdoing it.

@JakeAnderson, GOMAD?! That sounds like a one-way ticket to Lactose City.
Here’s my favorite bad advice: “Drink black coffee before every meal to burn fat faster.” Sure, caffeine can help with energy, but drinking coffee ALL the time made me jittery, and it did nothing for fat loss. Lesson learned.

Re: What’s the Most Effective Workout Split You’ve Tried?
I usually do compound lifts to hit multiple muscle groups—like squats, deadlifts, bench press, and rows. Then I’ll throw in some accessory work like bicep curls or lateral raises. It keeps things efficient but effective.

Re: What’s the Most Effective Workout Split You’ve Tried?
Upper/lower splits are solid, especially if you’re balancing other sports or activities. I used to do them when I played basketball, but now I’m back to full-body workouts. They’re great for beginners or anyone short on time.

@FlexQueen, I keep it super basic—grilled chicken, steamed veggies, and rice. I switch up the seasonings every week to keep it interesting. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done.

I’m with Olivia – glute bridges are great. But I’d add the Pallof press. It’s such a simple but effective move for core stability, and it works muscles you don’t usually think about. I feel like it’s a game-changer.
