Personally, I think the best sessions are the ones where you train with a purpose. Solid mind-muscle connection, controlled reps, enough intensity to challenge yourself, and a little progress you can build on next week. Not every workout needs to be an absolute banger, either. Recovery, consistency, and knowing when to push or pull back are part of the game.
I’m curious how everyone else measures a successful session. Is it a nasty pump, a strength PR, better technique, hitting every rep on your program, or simply walking out knowing you gave an honest effort?
What makes you leave the gym thinking, “Yeah, that was a damn good workout”?
