Bulking Without Getting Fat – Is It Possible?
Every time I try to bulk, I end up putting on a lot of fat along with the muscle. I want to know if there’s a way to slowly gain size without turning into a marshmallow. Do you track calories super strictly or just eat more clean foods?

Track your macros. I bulked without a food scale for years and always ended up fluffy. Now I weigh everything.

Clean foods help, but too much clean food still adds fat. Portion control is key.

Cardio during a bulk is underrated. Keeps you lean and helps appetite control.

I do 4 weeks of surplus, 1 week at maintenance. Helps manage fat gain.

I just accept a little fat gain. If it’s not crazy, I cut it later.

Focus on strength progression. If your lifts aren’t going up, extra calories aren’t helping much.

Liquid calories are dangerous. Stick to whole food so you don’t overeat without realizing.
