Best Leg Day Finishers for Growth

Post by AntLewis »

My quads are smoked after squats, but I’m looking for something to end the session with that makes me crawl out of the gym. Any killer finishers?

Walking lunges down the gym floor and back, no stopping. You’ll question all your life choices halfway through.

Leg press drops sets, 5–6 drops with no rest. By the last set, you can’t feel your legs, just fire.

Bulgarian split squats holding dumbbells. Pause at the bottom, explode up. Pure evil.

Control the hack squat on the way down, 4–5 seconds. It’s brutal, but that’s where growth lives.

Run your leg extensions to absolute failure, then don’t rack it push out partial reps until your quads are shaking and burning like fire. That’s when the real work starts. It’s brutal, but that last stretch is where you carve out the detail and separation.

Drag that sled backwards until your legs don’t know what straight feels like. Quads lit up, balance gone, every step feels like fire but that’s exactly where the growth kicks in.
