I've been training consistently for a while now, but lately I feel like my progress has slowed down. I’m going to the gym regularly, pushing myself during workouts, and trying to stay consistent, but I don't feel like I'm getting the results I expected.
I'm starting to wonder if I need to change my workout routine, increase the intensity, focus more on recovery, or simply be more patient. For those who have experienced this, what helped you break through a training plateau and start progressing again?
Anyone else feel like they're training hard but not seeing the results they expected?

I had the same issue. I started tracking my lifts properly and focusing on progressive overload instead of just trying to finish every workout exhausted. That made a big difference for me.

How long have you been following your current program? I used to change workouts too often because I thought they weren't working, but I wasn't giving them enough time to actually see progress.

I've been following my current routine for around three months. I think I may have been focusing too much on how tired I feel after training instead of actually tracking whether my strength and performance are improving. I'm definitely going to start logging my workouts more carefully.

Sleep was the biggest change for me. I started getting 7–8 hours consistently, and my workouts improved almost immediately.

I would look at your recovery before adding more training. Sometimes people think they're not doing enough, so they keep adding sets and sessions, when the real problem is that they're not recovering from what they're already doing.

Progressive overload. Track your weights, reps, and sets. If you're gradually improving over time, you're moving in the right direction.
Re: Anyone else feel like they're training hard but not seeing the results they expected?
I've been through this more than once. The biggest lesson I learned was that training harder isn't always the answer. I started paying more attention to technique, controlling the movement, and actually feeling the target muscle instead of just moving heavier weights. My progress became much better after that.

I think people underestimate how important nutrition is. You can have a great training program, but if you're not eating enough protein or getting enough overall calories for your goal, progress can be much slower.
