How Much Protein Do Women Really Need to Build Muscle?
Re: How Much Protein Do Women Really Need to Build Muscle?
One thing I wish more beginners understood is that protein isn't the only part of building muscle. I was obsessed with getting enough protein but wasn't eating enough overall, and my training suffered. Once I started fueling my workouts properly, I felt stronger and recovered better.

100% agree. Protein matters, but it isn't a magic switch. Progressive strength training, enough overall food, good sleep, and recovery all need to work together.

Breakfast was my weak spot. Adding eggs or Greek yogurt in the morning made hitting my daily target much less stressful.

I've been lifting for a couple years now, and I don't obsess over protein anymore. I have a rough target, build most meals around a quality protein source, and move on with my day. That approach has been much more sustainable for me.

Honestly, consistency is the biggest thing. You don't need a perfect meal plan or some crazy protein goal. Find foods you actually enjoy, get a reasonable amount of protein regularly, train hard, recover, and give your body time to adapt. Results take patience, but the boring basics really do work.
