What Training Style Has Made the Biggest Difference in Your Strength This Year? 💪

For me it’s been a mix of strength training and explosive work. Adding box jumps, kettlebell swings, and other power movements has made my regular lifts feel stronger and more controlled. Definitely feels more athletic too.

Recovery has honestly been the missing piece for me. I used to think more workouts automatically meant more progress, so I was constantly tired and my lifts were stuck. Now I’m taking rest days seriously, eating enough, and giving my body time to recover. My strength has improved way more than I expected.

Progressive overload + better technique has been my biggest win this year. I used to chase heavier numbers even when my form was falling apart. Now I’m more focused on controlled reps, full range of motion, and gradually increasing the load. It’s slower, but I’m actually getting stronger instead of just moving heavier weight.
