I’m a sucker for apple slices with peanut butter—it’s the perfect mix of carbs, healthy fats, and a bit of protein. If I need an extra protein boost, I’ll sprinkle a little whey protein powder into the peanut butter. Quick and easy. What’s everyone else snacking on?
That’s a great combo, @EthanBrown! My go-to is Greek yogurt with a handful of granola or berries. Tons of protein, and the carbs give me a nice energy boost before a workout. Anyone have a good granola brand that’s not loaded with sugar?
@FlexQueen, I like Bear Naked granola—it’s lower in sugar and has some solid options with added protein. My favorite snack, though, is a handful of almonds and beef jerky. Super portable and great for when I’m on the go.
Beef jerky is solid, @JakeAnderson. I also make my own trail mix with almonds, walnuts, dried cranberries, and a few dark chocolate chips. It’s clean, but it satisfies my sweet tooth. Plus, the healthy fats keep me full for longer.
Homemade trail mix is the way to go, @MasonTaylor! My go-to snack is cottage cheese with pineapple chunks. It’s high in protein, and the pineapple adds a nice bit of sweetness. Anyone else into cottage cheese, or am I the odd one out?
You’re not alone, @OliviaWilson—I’m all about cottage cheese too! I mix mine with a scoop of protein powder and a little cinnamon. It turns into a dessert-like snack that’s packed with protein.
That sounds amazing, @robertjohn! I’ve been doing rice cakes with tuna or turkey slices lately. It’s a great high-protein, low-calorie snack, and it keeps me full until my next meal.
Rice cakes are clutch, @SophiaMiller. I do mine with almond butter and banana slices for a pre-workout snack. Quick carbs and some fats to keep me fueled. For post-workout, though, I always go for a protein shake with a banana. Simple and effective.
I’m seeing a lot of love for bananas—definitely an underrated snack. For something different, I like hard-boiled eggs with a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning. High protein, super easy to prep ahead, and tastes way better than plain salt.
