I like using a deep squat hold with a light support. It helps me loosen up without making my warm-up overly complicated.

For me, it’s hip airplanes. They’re harder than they look
, but they’ve helped me with hip control and balance, especially on single-leg work.

Band pull-aparts before upper body days are a regular for me now. Nothing fancy, just enough movement to get my shoulders ready before I start loading up.

I’ve been doing calf raises with a slow stretch at the bottom, and surprisingly that has helped my ankle movement more than all the random stretching I used to do.

I think the biggest mistake is trying to make mobility another exhausting workout. I keep mine short and specific to the session—ankles and hips before leg training, shoulders and T-spine before upper body, then I get into my actual warm-up sets. It’s much easier to stay consistent that way.
