Slightly ahead, but not dramatically ahead. You still want to look your best on show day, so I wouldn’t try to get completely shredded a month early either. A little cushion is ideal.

For me, the goal is to make the final weeks boring. 😂 If my conditioning is already where it needs to be, I can focus on staying consistent instead of freaking out over every mirror check and scale fluctuation.

I’d rather be ahead because bodybuilding already requires enough discipline. There’s no trophy for suffering more during the final two weeks. If the physique is ready early, that gives you time to stabilize things, keep training quality as high as possible, and actually enjoy the last part of the journey. 💪🏆
