Yep, that one hits home. Once I stopped worrying about what the guy next to me was lifting, I could actually focus on getting better at my own lifts.

I started taking warm-ups seriously, especially before lower-body days. A few minutes of mobility, some ramp-up sets, and gradually getting into my working weight made a bigger difference than I expected. My first heavy set feels way smoother now, and I’m not trying to go from zero to 100 as soon as I walk into the gym.
