I’ve tried a few different supplements, but monohydrate is the one I keep coming back to. I notice the most value from it when I’m consistent with my lifting and nutrition, rather than expecting the supplement to do all the work.

Honestly, I don’t see a reason to overcomplicate my stack. I’ve been using creatine monohydrate for years, and it fits my budget while supporting my strength training. I’d rather spend extra money on quality food and a gym membership than chase every new supplement trend that pops up on social media.

That’s where I’m at too. I’ve seen so many new creatine blends and “next-level” formulas being promoted, but I keep coming back to the basics. I’m more interested in what actually supports long-term training progress than what looks impressive on a supplement label. Curious if anyone here has noticed a meaningful difference after switching away from monohydrate.

Monohydrate is still my go-to. No need to make the stack complicated.

I use creatine every day, including rest days, and keep the dose simple. I’m not expecting overnight changes, but I like having a consistent routine that supports my strength and training performance. For me, the biggest thing is staying on top of the basics—progressive overload, enough protein, and getting quality sleep.

I tried a more expensive creatine blend because of the marketing, but I eventually went back to regular monohydrate. The price difference made more sense for me, and I’d rather keep my supplement budget under control. Not saying every other form is useless, but I personally don’t feel a need to pay extra when basic creatine fits my goals.

I think creatine monohydrate remains popular because it’s practical and has a strong research background. You don’t need a complicated stack to make progress, and I’d rather focus on consistent training, adequate calories, and recovery. Supplements can support the process, but they aren’t a replacement for putting in the work.
