How Often Do You Actually Take a Full Rest Day?
Lately I’ve been training almost every day, but my body’s starting to feel it joints achy, recovery lagging. Curious how you guys do it… do you plan your rest days ahead, or just take one when your body tells you to chill?

5 days on, 2 off. My lifts and recovery both feel way better since I stopped training nonstop.

I don’t plan them. If I wake up stiff or drained, that’s my rest day right there.

Usually 4 on, 1 off. But if my sleep’s bad or stress is high, I’ll chill another day.

Yeah, might need to back off a bit. Been ignoring the aches but they’re catching up.

Some weeks I go hard all week, others I need 2 rest days. Depends on recovery and work stress tbh.

Body always wins in the end. Rest before it forces you to. Learned that after a shoulder tweak
