Still trying to dial in a pre-workout meal that gives me solid energy without feeling heavy or bloated. Some days I feel amazing, other days I’m dragging even with caffeine.
What foods or combos have you guys found that genuinely improve your pump, strength or overall training feel? Looking for stuff that’s actually worked for real people, not just “eat anything 60 minutes before.

Rice cakes + honey + a little salt. Sounds basic but the pump is insane and it digests in like 10 minutes.

Greek yogurt + granola + blueberries. Easy on the stomach and gives me great sustained energy for long sessions.

Yeah I think my problem is eating too close to the workout. I usually slam something 20–30 minutes before and then feel heavy. Might try that 60–90 min window.

If I’m going for a crazy pump: gummy bears + electrolytes. It’s basically liquid carbs + sugar rush.

Low-fat pasta + chicken is underrated. Carbs hit quick and you stay full without feeling sluggish.
