Hey everyone! I feel like we all know the big ones – squats, deadlifts, bench press, etc. But what about the hidden gems? What's the most underrated exercise that you think more people should be doing? Personally, I swear by farmer's carries. They’re killer for grip strength and core stability!

Totally agree, Jake! Farmer's carries are awesome. For me, it's Bulgarian split squats. They’re brutal, but they target each leg individually and really improve balance. I hate them while doing them but love the results!

Oh man, Bulgarian split squats are no joke. I’d say face pulls are my underrated go-to. People overlook them, but they’re great for posture and shoulder health, especially if you spend a lot of time sitting.

Face pulls are so good, Ethan. I’d throw glute bridges into the mix. They’re not flashy, but they work wonders for your posterior chain, especially if you sit a lot like me. Plus, you can do them almost anywhere.

I’m with Olivia – glute bridges are great. But I’d add the Pallof press. It’s such a simple but effective move for core stability, and it works muscles you don’t usually think about. I feel like it’s a game-changer.

Jefferson deadlifts are wild—I tried them once and instantly felt muscles I didn’t even know I had! 😆

I’d say Copenhagen planks are a game-changer. Most people ignore their adductors (inner thighs), but these build serious strength that translates into squats, deadlifts, and even knee health. I started adding them in, and my lifts feel way more stable.

Anyone else doing these?

@Milier, yes! Copenhagen planks are brutal but so effective. I think a lot of people skip sled pushes too. They’re low-impact but crazy good for conditioning, leg strength, and even fat loss. And they don’t fry your CNS like heavy squats or deadlifts.

Whenever I want to get stronger without overloading my body, I just load up a sled and push!

Sled pushes are a beast! I’d also say Zercher squats need more love. Holding the bar in the crook of your elbows forces your core to engage like crazy, and it’s a killer way to build leg and upper back strength at the same time.

It’s uncomfortable at first, but once you get used to it, your squat game goes through the roof.

Zercher squats are a grind, but they’re amazing for full-body strength!

One I rarely see people doing is seal rows—they completely eliminate momentum, so your back does all the work. I started doing them when my barbell rows got sloppy, and my upper back strength exploded. If you want a thick back without cheating, give them a try!
